Get to know me.

Shirley Dormeus is a New York native, currently residing in Herndon VA. She has served in leadership for over eighteen years, empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, to increase their own self-determination and independence. She is a Therapeutic Options trainer and a Person Centered Thinking Coach. She is dedicated to supporting people live the lives they desire while their health and safety needs are met. 
Shirley believes freedom and justice can only be attained and sustained through Salvation found by faith alone, through grace alone, in Christ alone, for the glory of God alone. God has called her to be a continual witness of the true gospel, she has served the Church through the Women’s ministry, Outreach ministry, and Evangelism ministry and is dedicated to building communities with a focus on families, and making disciples first. Shirley is a follower of Christ, a mother, a grandmother, an advocate, and the Executive Director of Christians United Against Systemic Injustices (CUASI).
