Gustavo Pacheco has been married to Sara for over 30 years. They have two children, Adelina-Romina and Gustavo Gavrel. Gustavo Pacheco was born in Mexico; and grew up in a small village where he professed his faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He later moved to Mexico City to attend the National University of Mexico to study Chemistry. Then he moved to the United States to obtain a doctorate in Biochemistry. He has been working for over 23 years as a scientist focusing on the study of lung diseases. His passion for service led him to obtain a Masters of Divinity from Liberty Theological Seminary. He has worked at McLean Bible Church (MBC) and has started and collaborated on the planting of churches in communities of low income. He served as executive pastor of local Outreach. He focused on reaching out to all the communities where Title 1 schools are located, low-income communities in Fairfax county, VA. He oversaw all community help and partnerships with religious and non-religious organizations. He oversees the different ethnic groups of McLean Bible Church including the Latino, Filipino, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Ethiopian. Currently, he has been focused on reaching out in Falls Church and developing Biblical Communities in the Greater Washington DC.
